Sultana Aschim graduated from Arcadia University in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrating in Metals and Jewelry. Shortly after graduation, Sultana Maria Jewelry was formed. Sultana Maria Jewelry is a collection of gypsy themed pieces that pair beautifully with Aschim’s more expensive organic metals work. Sultana Maria Jewelry focuses on affordability and trends, giving women a unique piece that allows them to stand out. Every piece is handmade by Sultana at her home in South Jersey right outside of Philadelphia.
Her collection can be primarily found in independent boutiques throughout Philadelphia and in other boutiques all over the country.
http://box185.net/ Box 185 is a New York City-based fashion design company specializing in one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories. Sara Keiser started Box 185 in 2005 shortly before graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fashion Design, as well as two Associates in Patternmaking and Fashion Design Illustration. Though the name Box 185 was her address in South Dakota (RR 1, Box 185) that’s about as rural as Box 185 gets. Box 185 has that new brand of attitude: fun, fresh, and a little frisky.
